25% off for Alumni at UEL graduate's online boutique

My name is Venkdesh and I studied MBA Finance in Royal Docks Business School 2012-13. It was a pivotal point of time in my career and I feel so grateful that I got this opportunity to study at UEL. Not only was I able to enjoy a good time, life at UEL was a balanced mix of learning and also having fun along the way. One of the best things about UEL was that there was always somebody available to talk to if I needed any help or guidance. The thriving community, beautiful Docklands campus, sunrise & sunset views over the water are all still fresh in my mind! The course was just amazing, helped me understand the nuances of business, develop my leadership skills and also gain financial awareness laying the foundations to pursue my dream.

I've now started Midlands Boutique, an online retail store. Our vision is to be Britain’s favourite online store for natural & vegan beauty and cosmetics as well as health and wellness. We are passionate about bringing you products that are 100% authentic, natural or organic, vegan, often made in small batches, handmade with love ❤️ proudly local, made here in the UK supporting women owned businesses.

In our eco-friendly range carefully curated from the best brands you will find products never tested on animals, so they are cruelty free and also plastic free & palm free.

Soul Metaphors: Exploring Adlerian Early Memory Interpretation

Monday 6th March 2023, 17:00 - 18:00, Online

The School of Psychology are offering a unique opportunity to learn about "Soul Metaphors" Adler’s previously unpublished method of early memory interpretation. When you think back to your earliest memories, they may seem quite banal—fleeting recollections of sitting on a grandparent’s lap or playing with a favourite toy. Yet, according to pioneering psychiatrist Alfred Adler, "every memory is a chosen reminder." In Adlerian psychology, early memories serve as metaphors for one’s unique philosophy of life. Adler developed his technique of early memory interpretation in the early 20th Century but never committed it to writing.
Ellen Lee Alderton received her A.B. in psychology, with honour’s, from Wellesley College and her M.A. in international relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.
