UEL Professor's recent Law & Politics publications UEL Professor Vasileios Fouskas published an op-ed in The Lawyer Monthly on the relationship between international law and power-politics, comparing and contrasting the conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza and Cyprus: International law and power-politics: Israel, Russia, Turkey (lawyer-monthly.com).
He has also completed a monograph on Turkey's military operations in Cyprus in summer 1974, which will be published in October this year by Routledge. The title (Cyprus 1974. Anatomy of an Invasion) has been commissioned by the publisher on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the operations. The book is co-authored with former British diplomat, William D. Mallinson.

This September, UEL will be launching an Effective Coaching course for new and aspiring managers in the workplace. This course, which carries a Level 3 Award and Certificate in Effective Coaching, is accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
It is ideal for Alumni of UEL who have recently taken on managerial responsibility as well as more established managers who want to gain insights into the standards, ethics, and excellence of being an effective coach.
